I'm Kasia Hatcher. I spent twenty years building strategy and systems in some of the world's most complex environments — conflict zones, post-conflict countries, government agencies, helping leaders navigate change inside structures that weren't built for them. The question that shaped my entire career: how do you lead well while building the plane you're flying?

I started The Trusted Edge because that's also the story of every woman founder and leader I've ever met. I'm a certified executive coach and organizational development strategist, and I help women leaders and founders build companies that grow with them, not on them — through developmental coaching that clears the internal fog and consulting that builds the systems to carry the load.

My Journey

Strong women with soft hearts can change the world. And we don't have to do it alone.

I do this work because I've lived it.

I left home at sixteen. I grew up feeling unwanted, unworthy, and unlovable, and I found belonging through chosen family, faith, and years of honest personal work. The most transformative shift came in my thirties, when I finally got honest about my blind spots. Perfectionism. Control. The need to prove I was enough. When I stopped leading from that place, everything changed. How I built relationships. How I made decisions. How I showed up.

For twenty years and across twenty countries, I helped leaders build strategy and systems in places most people only read about. Sudan. Afghanistan. Pakistan. I learned what it means to lead inside systems not designed for you, to build trust across wildly different cultures, and to design something strong enough to carry weight long after you leave. That's where I learned what it really takes to build while flying the plane.

Then in February 2025, USAID was dismantled. My entire field disappeared. Almost overnight.

I got angry. And then I got clear.

48% percent of US businesses are owned by women. We employ 3% of the workforce. That's not a talent gap. That's a systems gap. And when I looked at what women founders and leaders face every day, building in environments not designed for them, carrying the invisible load, navigating deep change largely alone, I recognized the work immediately.

Same work. Different geography.

That moment led to The Trusted Edge. I believe an organization can't outgrow the self-trust of its leader. So I bring developmental coaching together with practical consulting, because inner clarity without systems stays stuck in your head, and systems without inner work never quite stick.

I'm here to help women build leadership skills and companies that grow with them. Not on them.
